Diving with Contact Lenses is Cool once you know This
If one is well aware of the type of lens to be used for diving then it is very comfortable to dive with contact lenses. Both hard and soft lenses are suitable but soft ones are recommended over hard lenses.
Why Not Choose the Hard Lens for underwater diving
- Hard lens will not let oxygen to penetrate thereby resulting in blurred vision
- It will result in dry eyes as well as diver will have to blink more often which will result in eyes getting tired
- The smaller size of the hard lens in comparison to soft lens makes them more susceptible to get out under water
- Eyes will never feel dry hence you will be able to better enjoy the breathtaking underwater
- Their large size so unfortunately even if divers mask comes out still these contact lens won't fall out if eyes are partially closed.
Still not Confident how to take an underwater dive wearing the contact lenses? Well, few little tweaks to contact lenses will make it more safe and reliable for underwater adventure
- Use corrective lenses that fit absolutely in standard masks
- Tiny correction stickers which will stick on the inside of mask lens
